One
book that was very interesting and worth reading again that I discovered during
this subject was
Boyd,
S. (2006). The Connected Library.
This
book us full of useful and simple suggestions to improve your library. Here are
a few:

11. Do a SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) analysis each
year.
p.
13. The author reiterate the importance of communication with staff… such a
vital skill that is often neglected!
p.
18. “The library empowers students to be independent learners by ensuring they
are effective users of ideas and information.” What a profound and true
statement.
